Our Story

In 2018 a few from the valley recognized the need for a church. As one put it “we should not be going to funerals in a library.” A phone call was made to Loon Mountain Ministry, a resort church just up the road, to help cast the vision for a Waterville Valley worship service. That winter a small group gathered a few times and “Catch the Church Chair” was born. The movement continues to grow and the response has been encouraging and the work of the Lord is evident. Waterville Valley Community Church now meets weekly in the Summer and Winter with an incredible team of dedicated volunteers and guest speakers to teach worship together each week.
